Family Picnic – Biodiversity Day is addressed to the local communities in the vicinity of Rudniki Cement Plant and is meant as an educational and recreational (sport) event. The location of the event is a non-active quarry subject to natural succession that was revitalised in the form of a 2-kilometer nature trail that is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. As in the previous years our picnic is intended to provide wide environmental knowledge to the young people by different organizations (local university, NGOs, private educators).

At the same time the visitors from local school will be able to participate in the field game which leads them through the quarry area and its educational trail. Extra attractions for kids and their companies will be offered during the event.
