Sibelco – Eisenberg

With Eisenberg’s industrial and residential areas now bordering this historical sand and clay quarry, Sibelco presented a new land use concept for the location. Aiming to include natural areas focusing on species protection, industrial zones with the possibility of opening a restaurant or a cafeteria, water areas and areas for recreational use. Sibelco took the opportunity to present its history in Eisenberg (underground mining Abendtal, archaeological investigation in the quarry Doris) and the positive relationships with the local stakeholders.
