On 20 September 2019, Cement producer Salonit Anhovo hosted an open day in its quarries. The visit included:
A guided visit of active quarries where visitors can see the work on the site and have the opportunity to learn about developments and investment plans in Salonit Anhovo.
And the visit of an educational trail in the abandoned quarry Lastivnica where visitors can learn more about the cement production and minerals present in the cement plant region and those formed during the cement clinker production and hydration of cement in concrete.
